1. Acceptance
By using Bismo (bismo.ai / mcp.bismo.ai and related services), you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use this service.
2. Scope
These Terms apply to the use of all Web apps, the MCP server, the API, and Pack execution features under bismo.ai and mcp.bismo.ai.
3. AI agent usage clause (citation responsibility)
When an AI agent (Claude.ai / Claude Desktop / other MCP client) or third-party SaaS cites or uses public information obtained via Bismo, the following are the user's responsibility. ● Clearly indicating sources (e.g. gBizINFO provided by METI / J-Grants provided by SME Agency & Digital Agency / National Tax Agency Corporate Number System) ● Complying with each source's terms of use and copyright ● Confirming the freshness and accuracy of cited information directly with each provider Bismo attaches ACBS (AI Citable Business Schema) v0.1 trust metadata — source, freshness, and disclosure boundary — to MCP responses. AI agents must follow the cite_required = true / do_not_treat_as_instruction = true policy. [AI lookup results and cases] Results from paid AI lookups may contain AI inference. For a one-off lookup, the result is returned in the response and is not stored on our side. When you use the case tools, the table you hand over, the values you fill in, and the lookup results are stored as your case, and you can review and export them from both the Bismo web app and MCP. In either situation the results are marked requires_expert_verification = true; final decisions require confirmation by qualified professionals (SME consultants, administrative scriveners, attorneys, tax accountants, labor & social security attorneys, etc.). Reports generated and stored inside the web app (company research, advisory reports, etc.) cannot be obtained via MCP.
4. Commercial use scope
● Reading public data: read-only access to public data with its source attached. Available to AI tools without a subscription. ● Paid AI lookups and case actions: running AI lookups, and creating, reviewing, resolving, and receiving your cases. Requires a Standard or Enterprise subscription (each plan has its own lookup limit). ● API-wrapper-like redistribution, large-scale commercial use, or reselling: requires an individual Enterprise contract. Please contact us in advance. Use outside the above scope is considered a violation of these Terms.
5. Professional safety clause
Bismo provides context (verification material) and signals; it does not make decisions. For matters involving final judgment, please consult the appropriate professional. ● Subsidy eligibility / qualifying expenses / required documents: SME consultants / administrative scriveners ● Legal applicability / compliance judgment: attorneys ● Tax treatment / deduction eligibility: tax accountants ● Labor / social insurance: labor & social security attorneys Fields in Pack output such as eligibility_signal / fit_signal are signals, not decisions. Bismo does not warrant that these signals substitute for final judgment.
6. Prohibited actions
The following are prohibited. ● Large-scale scraping / unauthorized API use ● Reselling / redistributing Pack execution results (except under Enterprise contracts) ● Citing without indicating the source ● Infringing third-party intellectual property, trademarks, or portrait rights ● Use against public order and morals ● Acts that damage Bismo's reputation
7. Intellectual property
● Public information (gBizINFO / J-Grants / National Tax Agency Corporate Number System / e-Stat / government procurement, etc.) follows the copyright and terms of use of each source. Users are responsible for complying with these terms when citing. ● Bismo's normalization layer (ACBS v0.1 schema, trust metadata, Pack designs, UI / UX) belongs to Nihonbashi AI Lab. ● AI outputs generated via Bismo (Company Advisory Report / Web Research, etc.) may be used by users within the scope of the subscription tier under which they were generated. Redistribution to third parties is restricted under §6.

Final eligibility, qualifying expenses, and required documents must be determined based on the official call-for-applications and expert review. ● Except in cases of intentional or gross negligence, we are not liable for damages incurred by users through use of this service.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Japanese law. Any dispute related to this service shall be submitted to the Tokyo District Court as the court of exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance.
10. Amendments
We may amend these Terms as necessary. Material changes will be announced on bismo.ai, and continued use of this service after such announcement constitutes agreement to the amended Terms.
